Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

This policy explains how OpenClaw uses cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels) when you visit our website. In compliance with LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) and GDPR.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to "remember" your preferences, keep you logged in, or analyze how you use the pages so we can improve.

Categories of cookies we use

1. Essential (always active)

Necessary for the site to function. Without them, login, cart, and payment processing won't work. No consent required.

  • wlc_sid — authentication session (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax)
  • NEXT_LOCALE — chosen language
  • cookie_consent — your consent choice (this policy)

2. Analytics (optional)

We measure how you browse — which pages you visit, time spent, click flow. Aggregated data, no individual personal identification. You can reject at any time.

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _gid, _ga_*)
  • Cloudflare Analytics (no cookies; anonymous IP aggregation)

3. Marketing (optional)

To show relevant ads on other platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads). Can be rejected.

  • Google Ads (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw)
  • Meta Pixel (_fbp)

How to control your consent

When you visit the site for the first time, we show a banner with 3 options:

  • Accept all — enables analytics + marketing
  • Reject optional — essentials only (default privacy-first)
  • Customize — granular control by category

Your choice is stored in cookie_consent in your own browser (not on the server). To change later, clear your OpenClaw cookies and the banner will reappear.

Your rights (LGPD/GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Confirmation of the existence of data processing
  • Access to the data we collect about you
  • Correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data
  • Data portability
  • Deletion of data processed based on consent
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time
